Think about this. We send probes to other planets to check them out. Our probes collect soil samples and analyze them on the spot. We even sent a probe to crash into an asteroid—and our Voyager 1 probe has traveled over 9 billion miles from the sun. Now, imagine we have time-traveled 100 years into the future, to a time when humans have developed the technology to send manned missions to other worlds. What would we do if we journeyed to a planet, only to discover sentient beings living there? These beings possess technology far inferior to ours; in fact, they seem downright primitive in comparison. What would we do?
