What the encounteree was feeling during the sighting: Since I saw it run across the road, I didn’t feel anything until after I slammed on the brakes and realized what the thing might be. It took off into the brush, and there was no way I could follow it. I kept driving, but I was shaking with the adrenalin rush I had.

The creature exhibited the following humanistic qualities: Stature, walked in a form between humans and maybe a gorilla (?)
The creature saw me and its reactions was: Ran across the road like a deer or other animal would

I noticed something unusual associated with the encounter: I saw a skunk ape!” I think that’s unusual enough!
