Location Description: The event occured in Callaway, which is next to Panama City, Florida in Bay County. The nearest road is Fl Highway 22. The land east of my location consist of several thousand acres of St. Joseph Paper Co. forest land. The local environment consist of pine forrest, some of the land is low but not swampland. There is a bayou nearby which opens onto the local bays and from there onto the Gulf of Mexico.

Details regarding the creature’s appearance:

Additional information about the creature: This was not a visual sighting. The event consist of strange howling sounds and a very repugnant odor. During the time when the odor was present the dog next door started barking then made several yelping noises and then became silent. I have heard this noise previously but did not pay much attention to it. The repugnant odor occurred the first week of Feb. on two different occasions.
