Height: 7-8ft
Hair Color: dark brown
Weight: 4-5hundred lbs.
Speed: it could move at a decent rate

What the creature was doing while being observed: it was crossing the river when we noticed it then it disappeared behind an island
The creature exhibited the following humanistic qualities: it walked upright and seemed to have a good sense of direction
The creature saw me and its reactions was: it turned its head towards us then started moving at a faster rate

There were no tracks in the area.

The creature emitted an odor: No
I noticed something unusual associated with the encounter: where the thing walked across the river the water is about four foot deep and it only came to this things knees
Additional comments about the sighting: whatever it was knew where it was going because once it see us it took off behind an island and that was the last we seen of it.
