So, you’d kill a living creature that is unknown to science just so people will believe you and the world will know. Yep! Typical redneck mentality!

If you saw a little one, there was definitely at least one big one that you didn’t see.

It would rip you apart like a Velcro rag-doll before you ever fired a shot and you’d be famous for sure! One can dream anyway…

Hmmm…I was just thinking…4′ tall, hairy and 250-300 lbs. Are you sure it wasn’t your spouse coming home late from the bar?

I have not discussed what I saw, but I am going to here to support the above comment. In 2004 in Apopka, I got detoured off of 441 onto a dirt road. It was slow driving, it was about 3 in the morning. It was really dark and there was a lot of brush on either side of the road. The a/c was not working, so I had to crack the window. As I rambled down this road, I was suddenly overcome with a hideous odor that was even worse than skunk. Less than a half mile ahead, something ran across the path of my vehicle. It reminded me of Chaka from Land of the Lost in that it was light brown and shaggy and about 4-5 feet tall. It did was really shocking and I tried to rationalize that it might be a bear. A bear isn’t going to run on 2 legs. The thing that still really stays with me was the SMELL. It was truly awful. So, that was my encounter. It still puzzles me to this day.
